Disclosures
Important scope, data, and verification disclosures for GDRS.
Effective date: July 2026
Company identity
GDRS is the public business name used by Geospatial Data Reference System LLC for geospatial data reference support, construction intelligence workflows, asset intelligence, data standardization, documentation workflow support, and related infrastructure project services.
Service scope
Potential deliverables may include operational reference layers, KMZ/KML files, GIS-ready data exports, as-built sheet references, stationing references, asset indexes, field documentation organization, redline support, QA/QC support, permit/reference status tracking, and closeout documentation support.
Reference support only
GDRS deliverables are intended to support project review, communication, documentation, and closeout workflows for authorized users. GDRS is not a public utility map, emergency response system, locate service, survey product, engineering seal, permitting approval, or official owner record unless specifically adopted by the owner through a written agreement.
Not a substitute for required verification
GDRS does not replace official GIS systems, 811/call-before-you-dig procedures, field locates, potholing, survey, engineering review, permitting, construction specifications, utility owner requirements, safety requirements, or official asset-owner documentation. Field conditions must be independently verified as required by the project, owner, law, permit, or applicable industry practice.
Authorized data requirement
GDRS should only be built from records that the project owner, asset owner, contractor, or authorized project team has permission to use and share.
Accuracy and completeness
GDRS organizes and references information based on available source records, field inputs, and project data. Source records may be incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, approximate, or subject to later revision.
Technology and automation
GDRS may use software, mapping tools, spreadsheets, automation, artificial intelligence, or other technical methods to assist with organizing and reviewing documentation. Such tools support the workflow but do not eliminate the need for human review, project approval, source verification, and field confirmation.
